Swimming Camp 2015

We are excited to announce the first SwimVulcans development swimming camp aimed at County and Regional qualifiers. The Camp will be held at The Priory City of Lincoln Academy (City School), Skellingthorpe Rd, Lincoln, LN6 0EP on Tuesday 26th May 2015.

We have confirmed the attendance of Roberto Pavoni, GB International Swimmer, along with other guest speakers and sports activity staff. In 2014, Roberto won a hat-trick of British gold medals claiming the 200m Fly, 200m IM and 400m IM crowns in Glasgow. He then claimed his first senior international medals with 400m IM silver and 200m IM bronze at the European Championships in Berlin.

The day will focus on the needs and habits of a performance swimmer with a lifestyle talk, a pool session with England Talent Development Coach Michael Glossop, a talk and Q&A with Roberto Pavoni and with Pavoni himself leading the afternoon pool session.

The camp is open to swimmers from all clubs at a cost of £45 - SwimVulcans team members get a £5 discount. Places are on a first-come, first-served basis with 60 places available.

We will also be looking for 6 parent volunteers to act as chaperones/team managers on the day - if you are interested please let us know.
