Maya selected for Portugal

Lincoln Vulcans swimmer Maya Westlake has been selected to represent British Swimming at this week’s Portuguese National Championships in Famalicao.

Maya will be part of a 10-strong team making the trip to Portugal on Tuesday (16th) morning. She will be racing in four events at the meet starting on the 18th July, including the 50m and 100m Backstroke, 100 Freestyle and her favoured event 200m Freestyle.

This will be Maya's first international event swimming in GB colours, the experience will be valuable for her future career in swimming and achieving her goals.
