Tulip Open Meet report

25 swimmers competed in the 28th Tulip Open Meet at the weekend at Spalding. Despite grey skies and cold nights many swimmers were so eager to compete they camped outside the pool. There was a fantastic team spirit throughout the weekend and for many swimmers they were competing in their 1st open meet.

All of the swimmers competed hard over the weekend making 21 finals. Special mention goes to Ravi Yarwood-Patel, Henry Cawte, Sophie Hart and Elissa Gratton who all finished in the top 3 in their ages groups. The weekend resulted in some amazing pbs from our swimmers and many swimmers achieving their County Times for next year - congratulations to the whole team.
